How to Refer Students

Tech’s faculty and staff are full of industry-specific knowledge and often have great professional connections. However, employers’ demands, the job search process, and hiring practices are always changing. While faculty and staff possess valuable information to share with students, the Career Center is equipped to give students individual attention and provide current information related to career readiness. Students can make appointments with a career coach on Handshake, Tech’s online career management system. 

All Tech students have accounts on Handshake. To schedule time with a career coach, Tech students should log into Handshake through the Let Me In portal using their school email address. Once on Handshake, students can make an in-person or virtual appointment with a career coach by choosing a career development topic to focus on, viewing career coaches’ availability, and selecting a day and time that suits the student’s schedule. Students can also visit the Career Center in person in Room 229 in Andorfer Commons.
